We are going to take them out after 1 minute and see how much they fog up at room temperature. Fogging up of lenses can be a real problem with sports eyewear and it is something that eyewear designers are constantly trying to improve. The problem occurs when water droplets condense on a cold lens surface when the wearer either gets hot and perspires or when they go rapidly from a cold environment to a warm one. They wear off after regular lens cleaning and need to be re-applied. With the TAC-RX, a hard silicone coating is applied to the back of the lens that creates a smooth surface that reduces the formation of water droplets. This hard coat will not wear off when you clean the lenses. It is not necessarily going to eliminate fogging entirely in all circumstances, but we have received positive feedback from many customers that the TAC-RX fogs up significantly less than most sports eyewear. The minute is now up and we are going to take the glasses out of the freezer. As you can see, the TAC-RX lenses are ...
